     The summary of this site is Read, Write, Think is a fun and informative site that has game for teachers and parents to help with children leaning.  The ABC Match game can be used in the classroom or a home to challenges children to match letter cards and picture cards that begin with that letter, for example, d with a picture of a dog. Children learn to read by first learning how letters sound—this relationship between letters and sounds is called phonics. The main goal of this site is once children learn how individual letters sound, they can then string them together to sound out simple words like cat or map.

     Summary of this site is to provide a range of activities to explain and reinforce the meaning of compound words by using pictures and words to put together to make compound words in a game.  You can use these in the classroom for the student to understand that a compound word is two smaller words joined together, look at individual words to make their own compound words, and identify and create compound words from a list or table of words.  The main goal of this site is design as a resource to support the teacher.  It included a selection of supporting worksheets that can be adapted to suit the age range of the pupils being taught.

     The summary of this site is that it has different lesson plans activities for different age groups.  One such lesson plan is “The Tell-Me-a-Story Quilt”.  The Children will create a group quilt in which each square depicts a favorite book or a character from literature.  This can be used in the classroom to help children learn square or rectangular shapes, to thank about their favorite story book characters and how to organize things into a story.  The main goal of this lesson plan would be for the children to work together; develop their fine-motor, language, and observational skills.
